Kondopoga International Trading GmbH – KIT for short – is the sales agency of
the notable Russian paper mill Joint Stock Company Kondopoga (JSC Kondopoga).
KIT was founded in Hamburg in 1992 as a joint venture between Conrad Jacobson and
JSC Kondopoga. Since then it is responsible for the worldwide trade of the first class
paper products of JSC Kondopoga.

KIT was founded 1992 as the sales agency for newsprint paper exported and manufactured by JSC Kondopoga. Being a daughter company of Conrad Jacobson Group, KIT was from its founding able to use the already existing sales structure established through the years before. Since then KIT has made an excellent reputation for itself as a trader for Kondopoga newsprint paper in the global paper and stands for quality, customer satisfaction, reliability and flexibility. The combination of these factors allows KIT to optimally respond to current circumstances as well as daily changes in the global market.

JSC Kondopoga sees careful use of natural resources as well as sustainable environmental conservation as absolutely self evident. In the beginning of the early 90s JSC Kondopoga developed an efficient environmental new programme, which succeeded in drastically lowering the release of detrimental emissions in the air, as well as in the nearby Onega lake. Likewise waste resulting from the production process was reduced to a minimum. In the past JSC Kondopoga has installed numerous biological cleaning plants. State of the art industrial facilities and production machines not only prevent the creation of pollutants, the also ensure extremely low water consumption.
The paper mill JSC Kondopoga in the Russian north western Republic of Karelia was founded in 1922 and production started 1929. JSC Kondopoga is now one of the leading and most significant Newsprint paper manufacturing facilities in Russia. With close to 34.000 inhabitants, the city of Kondopoga acquired municipal law in 1938. Kondopoga International Trading GmbH exports its products to over 60 countries world wide.
After opening of the Soviet Union in 1991 it became a vital necessity for JSC Kondopoga to increase export sales of Kondopoga Newsprint, as the former home market for russian papermills was disappearing. During the years of production JSC Kondopoga always produced high quality newsprint. So, the product was there and KIT on the other hand had the market knowledge. KIT and JSC Kondopoga jointly set appropiate logistics, modernised the production and expanded its existing structures. KIT quickly developed into a modern and worldwide active corporation, it has long since made a name for itself as a reliable and competent sales agency for the first class products of the paper mill JSC Kondopoga.
